Education on the Thames

Schools can subscribe to our newsletter by clicking here

Thames education takes many forms and can be everything from river explorations for Early Years right through to education for adults. We provide courses in the following National Curriculum subjects; Geography, History, Archaeology, Science, Environmental Science, Art and English. We have a wealth of experience having provided river based courses for over 28 years. We have become known for the quality of our courses. We can tailor the programme to suit the needs of your group and weather conditions on the day. We take health and safety extremely seriously and have developed and written the Health and Safety guidelines for visits to the foreshore. These are freely available for all as a download from the front page of our website.

Over 18,000 people investigated the Thames with us last year. Our programmes and resources provide schools and groups with lesson material for both preparation and follow-up work back in the classroom.
