All or our courses are designed to promote a deeper understanding of the river and link directly to the National Curriculum. Download our 2012/13 Schools brochure or use the map below to learn more about our many site visits. Go to practical information to find out everything you need to know before making a booking include costs.

Thames education takes many forms and can be everything from river explorations for Early Years right through to education for adults. We provide courses in the following National Curriculum subjects; Geography, History, Archaeology, Science, Environmental Science, Art and English. We have a wealth of experience having provided river based courses for over 24 years. We have become known for the quality of our courses. We can tailor the programme to suit the needs of your group and weather conditions on the day. We take health and safety extremely seriously and have developed and written the Health and Safety guidelines for visits to the foreshore. These are freely available for all as a download from the front page of our website.

We also work with other river based groups, We were the founders of the Thames Learning Group the umbrella group that coordinates Thames education, a forum now under the wing of the Thames Estuary Partnership, This works with all organisations that have an interest in the Thames, and includes such disparate groups as the Tower of London, the RSPB, Deptford Creek Education Centre and of course ourselves. We also work with the River Thames Alliance to promote Thames activities in the non tidal Thames.
