PROGRAMMES FOR 2007- 2008
Archaeology for All: Hidden
Treasures of the Thames
For the last few years, we have offered very popular
half day sessions investigating London's past
through the artefacts found on the Thames foreshore.
From Autumn 2005, we will offer full day programmes
at a number of river sites, see our school
visits brochure for more details. A schools
pack is also available to support further classroom
work, have a look at our resources
page. Schools purchasing a pack before a fieldwork
visit will get it at the discounted price of £14.99!
We are now accepting bookings for this exciting
programme.
RNLI Lifeboat Visit
The Lifeboat Station at Chiswick Pier is amongst
the busiest in the country. As part of our Rivers
and Environmental Issues course Pupils can visit
the Lifebaot Station, meet the crew, discover
the tools of the trade and examine their boats.
We can offer this as an alternative when the river
is too high to visit the foreshore. Please note
that emergency circumstances can always mean that
the lifeboat men are not here.

East London
We have spent 2006-07 developing
new programmes in east London, Greenwich, Shadwell
Basin and trinity Buoy Wharf. We aren now able
to offer KS3 & KS2 Investigating the River
Courses at all these venues. Please see our schools
brochure for further details.
